Twenty-Twenty Vision

This year Adobe Photoshop is celebrating its 20th anniversary. At the same time the company is generating hoopla about the launch of its Creative Suite 5, which adds tools like "puppet warp," demonstrated above, to the Photoshop software package. Of course, more cynical users will point out that what seems to be an amazing addition of the tools of 3-D animation to everyday image alteration has long been part of other products in the suite, such as After Effects.
