Not Singing the Blues
In a society in which the intellectual property of animated films is usually licensed to the limit for toys and other children's products, Sita Sings the Blues, which was released under a Creative Commons license and is available for commentary and remix, is an interesting exception.
Virtualpolitik friend Mitsu Hadeishi gives it and its free culture philosophy a thumbs up. It's available for download online, but he encourages those interested to see it in a movie theater if possible.
