The Open Mailbox
Virtualpolitik friend James Kotecki needs to work on his French, but he has some good ideas to share with Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin about choosing an appropriate screen name, after she came under fire for using a personal e-mail account to conduct some of Alaska's state business. Palin was targeted by hackers who posted messages on Wikileaks.org, as Scientific American's "Hackers hit Palin, expose the dangers of using personal e-mail to conduct business" describes. The hackers were apparently veterans of another exploit involving private data from the Church of Scientology. Many of the screen shots that depict a combination of work and life ephemera can be accessed from this page.
