The CIA Library

I've never really thought much about the CIA library until I discovered that they had ordered my book, which actually details a number of CIA-related digital snafus. (Click image to enlarge.)

It's an interesting question to think about the other books that might be stored in their collection and about the kinds of reading practices that might be supported and sustained in the library's physical space. Scholars like Giles Bergel who are thinking about how online reading practices may be related to how publications once circulated in pubs and coffeehouses are now looking closely at the actual collections that such public spaces kept on the shelves.
