The Window Closes

I'm sorry to pass on the news that my colleague USC and former UCI professor Anne Friedberg has passed away. Every time I would teach that great visual rhetorician Alberti and seek to make it relevant to the digital age, I would find myself turning to her work on "the virtual window."
